Annual Meeting and
Make It With Wool Contest

Annual Meeting Program

Our program “Organizing the Sewing Room” will be given by Charlotte Cronin and the meeting will also includ a delicious luncheon.

One of the highlights of this event will be the completion and judging of the "Pattern Hacks" chapter contest.  Pattern hacks involve taking favorite elements from one, two, or more patterns to make a new pattern design. Or, it could be any type of pattern manipulation like adding darts, changing a collar, using a sleeve from one pattern to make sleeves for another garment, manipulating the sleeves or making a hemline asymmetrical. Entries can be anything!  Examples:  purse, jacket, dress, pants, etc.  The challenge started in March.

The State of Illinois Make It With Wool Contest will also be held during the meeting.  Our chapter sponsors this program and the contestants provide a lovely and unique style show in return.

There will be a brief "State of the Chapter" business meeting along with election of officers.

Members and guests are welcome!
