About Neighborhood Groups...

Find a Neighborhood Group...

Neighborhood Groups are the heart of the American Sewing Guild.  There are seven groups in the Central Illinois chapter.  Groups meet on a regular basis, most monthly, so you will find a bunch of sewing buddies nearby to share ideas, consult, and inspire you to keep sewing.  Each meeting is informal with a topic or program that is educational and engaging to increase your sewing and fiber arts knowledge and skill. All are  encouraged to bring their creations for "show and tell."  Or, you can bring sewing challenges to get expert suggestions on how to solve them that will move your project along.

ASG members may attend any and all Neighborhood Group meetings in the Central Illinois Chapter and anywhere around the country.  Prospective members are encouraged to attend two meetings before joining the chapter.  Please contact the Neighborhood Group leader to confirm monthly meeting times, programs and locations, especially if you are traveling a distance.
